Doing User Authentication

Once user is created with App42 platform, you can do user authentication in your app in just single line of code. Code snippet is shown below.

1. User Authentication

Following is the snippet to authenticate user with parameter username and password.

  • create User Api for Android
  • create User Api for J2ME
  • create User Api for Android
  • create User Api for iOS
  • create User Api for Java
  • create User Api for .NET
  • create User Api for Unity
  • create User Api for Ruby
  • create User Api for Rest
  • create User Api for WP7/WP8
  • create User Api for Flash
String userName = "Nick";
String pwd = "*******";
/*Following will throw App42Exception if authentication fails with
error code 2002 in onException method otherwise onSuccess will get called */
userService.authenticate(userName, pwd, new App42CallBack() {
public void onSuccess(Object response)
{
	User user = (User)response;
	System.out.println("userName is " + user.getUserName());
	System.out.println("sessionId is " + user.getSessionId());
}

	System.out.println("Exception Message : "+ex.getMessage());
